G.O. Parsons
G.O. Parsons has been making films since the age of seventeen. While in high school he wrote and produced a series of short films spoofing classic horror movies. From his early films when he edited by turning the camera on and off, he now uses a Mac Power Book and Final Cut Pro. In early 2001 Parsons made his first documentary feature film titled The Suicide Kid, which premiered in Los Angeles on July 16th, at the Clarity Theater, and was officially selected by the New York International Independent Film Festival. The documentary was also shown at the Portobello Film Festival in London, England and by the Lake Tahoe International Film Festival. Everyday Parsons continues to grow as an artist spending nearly six hours writing, acting or working with the camera. Recently Parsons co-starred in the television pilot Cojones. Parsons is the founding member of The Project Box which is a unique new entity composed of filmmakers, artists, web designers, urban planners, fashion designers, landscape architects, writers, novelists, playwrights, actors, architects, animators -- all of whom will collaborate on various projects in a combination think tank atmosphere. Parsons is 19 years old and when not filming or acting he attends UCLA. |
