Synopsis
COLORING THE SILVER SCREEN: African Americans On The Film Frontier is a ten minute documentary chronicling African Americans efforts to settle on the new cultural frontier of film. It illustrates how their fight to change the way they were portrayed on film was part of a larger struggle for equality and respect as United States Citizens over the past century.
