Scott Ward filmed Clean in his home in Northern Vermont. Clean is a "portrait of one tormented white, middle class, suburban youth's triumph over drab, opressive household chores in lure of his mother and father's 6-cylinder Toyota, Liberation." Using only a snappy swing tune and awesome editing, he says the film was also to pay homage to the silent films of an era passed. In the future, he hopes to produce educational videos promoting direct-democracy to show how capitalism exploits and manipulates the individual.
