CLAYTON'S CHOICE
By Ryan McCullogh
Studio 1018; Vacaville, CA

The effects of peer pressure are weighing on the back of Clayton, a claymation bear. A few kids from school want him to try pot, but Clayton must first search inside and in his dreams to find the strength to handle the situation. This film was Ryan's first 16mm production. It was produced day and night with his father for six months, and includes over 18,000 individually shot frames. It also needed over 70 individual, unique characters, 32 miniature sets, hundreds of props, over a dozen vocals, and an original script and score. Ryan is a TOY veteran, having produced The Isle and Real Men Wear Hawaiian Shirts for last year's festival.
