DUMMY
A film by Gregg Conde & Paola Witt

FILM DESCRIPTION, STILLS, AND PHOTOS OF THE FILMMAKERS FORTHCOMING

Last year, Paola Witt wanted to make a holocaust documentary, so she joined the TV ROP class at Florin High School that was being taught by Agrifino Edralin. Since Greg Conde was really into photography at the time, he thought that joining the class would extend his photographic abilities, so he joined as well. In the class, they went from making short movies using primitive in-camera editing (shooting scenes sequentially with no way to fix their mistakes), to being proficient in hand held camerawork and non-linear editing. By the end of the school year, together they had over ten films, including a 5 minute holocaust documentary trailer that Paola edited and directed, plenty of material to use for Greg's future demo reels and possible short film festival entries, an award winning digital piece (Deception In Nature -- first place in environmental class, TDR 3), and of course, Dummy.  Currently, they are both at Sacramento City College.  Paola is thinking about pursuing a college degree and career in business, and Greg is currently writing a feature-length film script and hopes to attend film school.
