With God On Our Side is a tragic morality play set against a 1934 factory labor struggle. The movie features a complex array of action sequences, emotionally charged performances from the teen actors, a dazzling array of sets and props, and the combination of six seperate locations to create the dazzling rooftop climax. Starring Ryan Frayne and co-written and directed by Matthew Robert Bowers, the young artists have created a powerful film in which the characters must decide which is more important - their families, their morals, or their lives.

Matthew Robert Bowers, 18, has just begun his first semester at Sacramento City College after graduating Mira Loma High School. Despite a homemade quality of his first set of films, they nevertheless maintain a high degree of artistic integrity. Since the creation of RM Films in 1991, Matt has written and directed a total of twenty-three short video projects, plus With God On Our Side. He is currently writing a dark feature-length screenplay to be filmed during the summer of 2000.
