This Sacramento Sierra region all teen youth media and communication arts organization is dedicated to organize and promote digital literacy, education system modernization, a world class media workforce, economic and community development through its training, partnership networking and media showcase programs. Empowering youth voice is the heart of our work by introducing, elevating and channeling computer supported creativity to its highest accomplishments. YOUTH ARE THE SOLUTION, NOT THE PROBLEM! The Tower of Youth shows the way to bring youth, educators, industry, community and government leaders together in a new paradigm of breakthrough excellence and quality in all our lives.

This year, we take another qualitative step up in demonstrating the possibilities of digital media arts and the force of teen spirit and imagination that drives its future for us all! This 14th Annual Teen Digital Reel Showcase will use on line entry forms and, for the first time ask all the youth producers to display their entries on line for each other to see and share insights and support with each other. This regional competition uses the internet to maximum shared discovery, shared creativity and shared growth as it aims to encourage youth to prepare for their future jobs and careers, their roles as active and critical citizens in world democracy, engines for community service and architects of a new society. We have also brought in a new entry category, "The Sports Industry: People, Stories, Feats" to invite young artists to examine the world of sports as an example of collaboration, diverse excellence, true studio based creativity and a way to look at the real world as a vast panorama of inspiring things to do from food prep, health care, fitness sciences, business, legal and financial services, sales, facility maintenance, communications, public relations, marketing... all under the umbrella of an entertainment corporation/studio. We are growing, transforming ourselves and having an even more profound influence on our Sacramento Sierra culture and economy! ...
