This all teen youth media and communication arts organization is dedicated to organize and promote digital literacy, education system modernization, a world class media workforce, economic and community development through its training, partnership networking and media entries programs. Empowering youth voice is the heart of our work by introducing, elevating and channeling computer supported creativity to its highest accomplishments. YOUTH ARE THE SOLUTION, NOT THE PROBLEM! The Tower of Youth shows the way to bring youth, educators, industry, community and government leaders together in a new paradigm of breakthrough excellence and quality in all our lives.

"Sweet 16"... we face adulthood for real! The world, American and California economies belong to digital media literate artists and leaders. The knowledge revolution in all culture and economic life is boggling. Leadership and 21st Century transformation absolutely depend on grass roots youth, their families, breakthrough educators, visionary administrators, "flat world" business leaders in radical partnerships! Step by step we are honeing the Annual Teen Digital Reel Showcase:

-- a separate award for overall Sound Design apart from the Music Video Category.

-- a new award partnership for "My Voice Counts" with Access Sacramento.

-- clearer comparative criteria/rubrics for each category quality.

-- more rigor in the demand for all original music and workforce copyright integrity.

-- The birthing of the Youth Broadcast & Media Association, partnership with the new 21st Century 'talent to jobs' website, TalentEarth.com.

-- Our collaborative development of the Sacramento Sierra Digital Arts Studio Partnership teacher and community membership and its regional projects up the stake to be part of advancing digital media arts literacy in all our lives.

-- Our formal partnership with the Sacramento Region District Three Parent Teachers Association aims to build a citizen, school site advocacy base to support youth digital media arts.

Our work demands a new commitment of digital media arts education system growth, classes, teachers, tools, post secondary credit, creativity, mastery. The coming year is a make or break time in our region. Where will it end? The powerful hope is in the buy in and amazing creative growth of our youth artists and their alliances.
