This unique educational event showcases movies entirely made and juried by high school youth. The full day event will be held at the Crest Theatre, 1013 K St., Sacramento, CA.

This year, The 12th Annual All Youth Film and Education Day will be held on October 3, 2008 and Webcast live. We are sending this alert to eligible youth 13 - 20 years old, inclusive, from across the US and Canada, to send us your best movie entries!

The Film Day hosts major industry spokespeople the day of the event. Some of our previous year's career-vision speakers have included Bryan Singer, Director of X-Men and Superman, Tom Sherak, the past President of 20th Century Fox, Frank Gladstone, then Head of Artistic Development at Dreamworks; Leo Chu, Disney Productions Sr. Vice President for Feature Animations; Sid Ganis, President of the Motion Picture Academy of Arts and Sciences; Merle Marshall, President of the TV Academy of Arts and Sciences; Cecelia Hall, Academy Award sound designer; Randy Nelson, Dean of Pixar University; Kokay Ampah, Dreamworks SKG location executive; Debbie Denise, Executive VP Sony Pictures Imageworks and many other greats. It's simply a great event run entirely by youth and it's Webcast live in real-time from beginning to end!
